Common Use
Buscopan is used to treat stomach cramps, irritable bowel syndrome (IBS), menstrual cramps, and bladder spasms. It helps relieve pain caused by smooth muscle spasms in the digestive and urinary systems. The medication provides fast relief from cramping discomfort.
Dosage and Direction
The usual adult dose is 10–20 mg taken up to four times daily, depending on the condition. Tablets should be swallowed whole with water. Follow your doctor’s instructions and do not exceed the recommended dose.
Precautions

Drug Interaction

Missed Dose
If you miss a dose, take it as soon as you remember. If it is almost time for the next dose, skip the missed dose and continue your regular schedule. Do not double the dose.
Overdose
Overdose may cause severe dry mouth, blurred vision, rapid heartbeat, or difficulty urinating. Seek immediate medical attention if overdose is suspected. Treatment is usually supportive.
Storage
Store Buscopan at room temperature, away from moisture and direct sunlight. Keep out of reach of children. Do not use after the expiration date.
