Common use

Sitagliptin is prescribed to manage type 2 diabetes mellitus. It works by inhibiting the DPP-4 enzyme, which increases incretin hormone levels. This helps the body release more insulin after meals, reduces glucagon production, and supports better blood sugar control.

Dosage and direction
