Common use

Fleqsuvy is prescribed for spasticity — increased muscle stiffness, spasms, pain, clonus, and muscle rigidity — especially in patients with multiple sclerosis or spinal‑cord injury/disease. It helps reduce muscle spasms and improve mobility by acting on the central nervous system via GABA‑receptor activation.

Dosage and direction

  • Fleqsuvy is an oral suspension: 5 mg/mL.

  • Treatment usually starts with a low dose, gradually increased according to response and tolerance, for example, 5 mg three times a day.

  • The maximum recommended dose is up to 80 mg per day, divided into multiple doses.

  • Shake the bottle well before each dose and use an oral dosing syringe to measure the correct amount.

Precautions

  • Avoid abrupt discontinuation to prevent serious complications such as seizures, hallucinations, high fever, or rebound spasticity.

  • Fleqsuvy can cause drowsiness, dizziness, or weakness. Avoid driving or operating machinery until you know how it affects you.

  • Use caution in patients with a history of seizures, psychiatric disorders, or kidney problems.

Contraindications

Do not use Fleqsuvy if allergic to baclofen or any component of the formulation.

Possible side effect

Common side effects include drowsiness, dizziness, weakness, nausea, or fatigue.
Serious side effects (especially with misuse or abrupt discontinuation) may include seizures, severe confusion, hallucinations, and increased spasticity.

Drug interaction

The CNS‑depressant effect of Fleqsuvy may be increased by alcohol, opioids, sedatives, or other medications that depress the central nervous system, raising the risk of drowsiness, respiratory depression, or falls.

Missed dose

If a dose is missed, take it as soon as you remember unless it is almost time for the next dose. Do not double doses to make up for a missed one. Follow your provider’s instructions.

Overdose

Overdose may lead to severe drowsiness, respiratory depression, muscle weakness, seizures, or loss of consciousness. Seek emergency medical attention if overdose is suspected.

Storage

Store Fleqsuvy at room temperature, protected from heat and light. After opening, follow your healthcare provider’s instructions regarding how long the remaining suspension can be used.

Why I must buy expensive pills while I can get generics on line with delivery to my place and for considerably lower price. I am ready to accept the situation that customer support sometimes can be dull when I want to trace my order.
