Common use

Diclegis (doxylamine succinate and pyridoxine) is prescribed for the management of moderate to severe nausea and vomiting in pregnant women. Doxylamine is an antihistamine that reduces nausea signals, while pyridoxine (vitamin B6) helps support normal metabolism and further reduces nausea.

Dosage and direction

Diclegis tablets are taken orally, usually at bedtime, and gradually increased as directed by a healthcare provider. Swallow tablets whole with water. Follow your doctor’s instructions carefully to achieve symptom relief while minimizing side effects.

Precautions

Inform your doctor if you have asthma, glaucoma, seizure disorders, or urinary retention. Avoid driving or operating machinery until you know how Diclegis affects you, as it may cause drowsiness.
